Sweet almond flavours are layered with notes of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate, while bright citrus brings balance for a smooth, modern sour that's equal parts nostalgic and refreshing. Familiar enough for lovers of a classic sour, yet fruity enough to bring something a little different to the glass. Like all Batched cocktails, it's designed to make great drinks effortless. "The beauty of Batched is that you shake and pour, and the perfect cocktail awaits." Simply add the Jamaretto Sour to a shaker with ice, shake for 20 seconds and strain into your favourite coupe or cocktail glass. The Jamaretto Sour recently caught the attention of NZ House & Garden, featuring in their August drinks edit under the headline "We're Jammin'". With notes of strawberry, raspberry and pomegranate balanced by bright citrus, it sits firmly in the comfort-cocktail camp: familiar, indulgent and designed for easy entertaining at home." On 1 August, we celebrated a milestone eight years in the making. The BATCHED Charity Ball brought together cocktail lovers, industry friends, partners and supporters for an evening dedicated to great drinks, great food and an even greater cause. Held at the stunning Grand Millennium Auckland, the event marked BATCHED's 8th birthday while raising funds for Save the Kiwi, helping protect one of New Zealand's most treasured native species. Over the course of the evening, guests embarked on a five-course cocktail degustation, with each BATCHED cocktail carefully paired alongside a complementary canapé. Designed as a journey through the BATCHED range, the experience showcased the stories, flavours and craftsmanship behind each serve, while offering guests the opportunity to discover new favourites along the way. As one of the first events of Auckland Restaurant Month, the setting couldn't have been more fitting. The team at Grand Millennium Auckland helped create a truly memorable experience, providing the perfect backdrop for an evening of celebration, connection and flavour discovery. A highlight of the night was the exclusive launch of our newest cocktail, Jamaretto Sour, the eighth addition to our 725ml collection. Guests were among the very first to experience its smooth blend of sweet almond, strawberry, raspberry, pomegranate and bright citrus notes. The evening also offered an exciting glimpse into the future of the brand, with a preview of the upcoming BATCHED 0% range. Attendees had the opportunity to sample Goldenglow™, our innovative alcohol-free blend designed to deliver the warmth, body and complexity of a full-strength cocktail experience without the alcohol. Beyond the cocktails and cuisine, the entertainment ensured the celebration lived up to the occasion. Live music set the mood throughout the evening, while authentic Brazilian dancers brought incredible energy and excitement to the ballroom, creating moments guests are unlikely to forget anytime soon. Most importantly, the event delivered real impact. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, donated, bid in the charity auction, and helped make the evening such a success. As we reflect on eight years of BATCHED, we're reminded that our journey has always been about bringing people together. Whether it's sharing a cocktail with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or supporting causes that matter, those moments of connection are what inspire us every day.
